Spectacular forestry and livestock farm of 1,929 ha in La Rociana.
30 km from Huelva, 26 km from El Rocío, 45 km from Matalascañas and 30 km from the Doñana Natural Park. Near the airports of Seville (80 km) and Faro, Portugal (140 km).
Several main vegetation units can be distinguished:
1.- A pine forest of 800 Ha.
2.- A 1000 Ha eucalyptus forest of wood and energy crops (rostrata, globulus and dunni clones in more humid areas).
3.- A pasture of 80 ha of cork oak forest distributed throughout the farm, generally does not exceed formations of more than 10 ha as a pure mass and is observed in a dispersed way among pine forests.
4.- Cereal cultivation 10 Ha.
5.- Plantation of wild olive trees 10 Ha.
As undergrowth we find typical species of the area: rockrose and jaguars, torviscos, mastic, myrtle and olivilla among others.
Timber, hunting and biomass use.
For the hunting use of large and small game, small plots of pasture are sown to feed game species.
A large part of the farm has a perimeter fence, currently having 600 fenced hectares.
It has 5 wells with plenty of water.
It has an FSC certificate (Sustainable Forest Council for sustainable forest management under the group scheme.
The cortijo is made up of the main house of 650 m². It has four bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room and a large loft with wooden beams.
It has three houses of 180 m² each in which there are two or three bedrooms.
There is a 240 m² guard house with a bedroom, bathroom and living room.
All spaces dedicated to housing need complete reform.
It has a 550 m² tool warehouse in which there is a generator and a diesel tank.
